I feel like SHiNE has helped me have this a-ha moment. I know you’re all probably rolling your eyes and laughing, but I’m serious. This positive group of ladies, hearing their stories, and getting back into something I used to love doing, dance, I’m starting to realize that self-love is the ultimate key to getting “fit.” Loving yourself at ALL stages! I look back at some pictures when I thought I was “fat” … oh my gosh. How ridiculous was I! I don’t know what I was seeing. But it is frustrating to think that if I would have just loved myself then… I probably wouldn’t be at this point where I need to lose weight.
Something else that has changed... My intense cravings are gone! I was definitely ADDICTED to sugar. That's all I thought about. I wanted sugar ALL. THE. TIME!
Now I am filling my body with foods that have nutrients. I mentioned previously that I do not cook. So that has always made it hard when trying to eat healthy. But, I have found some options on what I can eat with minimal cooking. For example, this was what I bought for this week’s food.
And one last thing that I have really noticed these past few weeks is the change in my energy level. Before starting SHiNE I had no energy. As soon as I’d get home at night, I’d take a nap because I was so exhausted. Now, when I get home I keep myself busy until bed time! It is such a weird, but great feeling.
To think I have only been doing SHiNE for a few weeks. I can’t even imagine how much will change in 90 days! If you’ve been SHiNiNG and have seen some changes, I’d love to hear them!
